So on the one hand you look down on Champions and Heroes.

But on the other you're concerned they reduce the 'specialness' of your founder's mech...?

Well, no need to say further, really...

Its really not an uncommon attitude for the rich to hold when the middle class is rising.

In fact, historically speaking:

-edit- I went to look up some videos or links relevant to the appearance of the middle class in Europe but I got bored and lost interest. Just imagine something from the History Channel.

I look down on ravens, jagers and anything carrying the ac/40/gauss/ppc combos with jumpjets at the same time.

Doesn't matter what I'm piloting at the time they just deserve no respect and should be ground down and blended with the tears of my victims to make a high quality coolant for my Awesomes.

I ran a few matches with the trial Champion Dragon; I liked it, bought it and now alternate
between the Dragon and my Founders Catapult. Tastes vary, some mechs and some weapons
are going to work better for different people. The fun is figuring out what works for you....

Its not how big your gun is but how you stroke the trigger.

Depends.

When I'm in my Atlas-D I'm usually taller than everyone else. :)

I've once seen a Legendary Founder in a Champion Jenner. Where's your god now?

I don't look down on anyone for the mech they choose to roll. Personally, I can't stand elitism.

Of course not. Ok, maybe just because the champion mechs are silly.

Can someone help me with a search term? I need to find a pic of the typical /monocle reaction... basically, someone being surprised, with their monocle coming flying off.

Spurting tea is optional.

I think they are a waste of money with their current bonus, but I don't look down on people who use them.

I don't look down on them, but I think buying mechs with real money for 10% exp boost is simply a mistake since the gain is so not worth it.

Not sure about looking down on champion mechs, but I sure did enjoy the Scrooge clip.

I used the spare space in the extended cockpit of the HBK-4G(F) to install a mini fridge full of Hefeweizen. I find it more than makes up for any shortcomings it has in the paint department.
