I read a lot about "older 'folks' " playing this game and blah
So I was wandering, how old ARE you?
Just thought it would be interesting to see the ages this new game is attracting.
I expect a lot of the 30 to 40 yr range, but I may be surprised.

Me, 53.

There's an older thread for that. No need to make another one, because there will be more inaccuracies. Also, no mreging, please, as it shuts down the results of teh poll.

Wow, I really am the young one in the bunch at only 18. Now I know there may be some people who think that my being young means that I'm coming in here blind as to what is going on, and while I may not be 100% on the canon, or the tabletop, I do plan to learn it. I came to MWO mainly due to playing MechWarrior 2-4 with my dad years ago and loving the series, and have truly been excited about the refresh of it.

I do plan on trying to get my dad to play as well; so there could be another 40+ military man joining the ranks.

Im 24

It is defo going to be mostly in the 20 - 40 range.
Young people are too fast paced to read the books and too young to remember the orignal games, they waited too long with another release if you ask me, they have missed a huge audience range from 15 - 21.

Still it will make the battles way better if its just us guys insted, we all know how to play and will participate in the role warfare.

That is so untrue! I would read read the books if I could and I am not too fast paced. I reject your reality and substitute my own!

27. Pretty cool that it looks like I'm in the majority. I wonder if it's because of the time period when the tabletop game reached the peak of its popularity. I was 12 at the time and most of my friends were within a few years of my age. Or is maybe it's because when you're in your twenties you can afford to build your own computer and still have more free time for computer games... Or simply from growing up during the rise of the personal computer and the at-home gaming system. /shrug! :P
