NGNG tries to remain positive at all times...sometimes a bit to a fault.
Command Chair is more the "blue collar" podcast, where it's people that like the game but also criticize. A really good balance.
Kong Kast is more on the very critical side...again sometimes a bit to a fault.
I enjoy all of the podcasts equally, and between them all you really get a good feel of the community as a whole.
Have to say I sort of agree on the pricing model... why spend 35 bucks on a mech when you can buy an entire game for that price? PGI could sell a lot more if they would charge less... but hey, they know the numbers on their sales, and I guess they are happy with them.
Anyway, keep it up guys, always good to have more podcasts to listen to.
Edit: Ok finished listening. The only suggestion I would make... and it's just my opinion is.. the "mocking" sorta grated on my nerves a bit... I loved how critical you guys were, and agreed with a lot of your points, but some of the mocking (for lack of a better term) wasn't fun to listen to.... hopefully that makes sense and you know where I am coming from?

I must admit we sound cynical and jaded. That is the reality of the game for us though. I still feel that it is simply our desire to tell it how it is in this game. We do have a certain level of speculation but I'd rather have us bring to the table what has happened and also provide links back for the audience. It's easy to forget, just not for us.
We do know that somewhere deep down under everything there is a good game in MechWarrior Online. We keep playing and discussing what we jokingly call a "dead game". In fact after yesterday's barrage of information from Bryan, on Twitter no less, things are looking up for us.
Also, we're not NGNG. We really do appreciate what Phil does, attend his recordings, submit questions, and watch the IGP streams to squeeze information from Garth. It was NGNG that inspired us to make our own podcast. Yet, while I do understand Phil's position to promote discussion about MechWarrior, I suppose we feel that it just stops short there.
That is where we step in. We're not here to ruin the game for everyone else. We're here to step into the deep end and swim when no one else is willing.
Just remember, it's Beta.

This has been my stance since the poptart onslaught began. I want to see the screws put to PGI for their mistakes. I thought we could rely on the rest of the community to call out PGI when they make mistakes. NGNG was, for the longest time, the only real voice of the fans, but these days I can practically hear Phil grasping at straws over his microphone when PGI screws up YET AGAIN and he's trying to put a positive outlook on it. Some things you just can't sugarcoat, and that's when you've got to have someone else step in and play bad cop.

This is proof that you do not need to be a founder to have the mentality of a gold.
Maybe I will quit "SOON". This is only my position at the current time.
My feelings are only beta and I should stop being so entitled

I hope to touch on this again, as in the next show, since it's becoming more of an industry standard instead of riding PGI for trying to do it first. I've glanced at DOTA 2 but I'm told it is undergoing buglist galore quality from Valve of all people.
