It really, really sucks to be playing with a group of friends and have to have 1, 2, or 3 people sit on the sidelines because of the group size rules. And with 12v12 on the horizon (hopefully) this is only going to get worse, since it will be only 1-4 and 12

What I suggest is a separate solo drop option to fill out odd group sizes and allow groups of whatever size. That way the people who feel like they get stomped by groups can stay in the queue of groups 1-4 and solo, and we can have odd number groups so we don't have to exclude anyone.

i think they were indicating that the Match drops in 12 vs 12 would change to a lobby system, and you could load the lobby before loading the match.. this should be more predictable than sync dropping.. i could be wrong about this thou..

I am not advocating nor suggesting sync dropping. What I am suggesting is having a separate solo drop option for people who are willing to drop with groups who have more than 4 but less than 12 (and obviously allow all group sizes).

I mean, isn't that the whole idea of the "Lone Wolf" faction? To fill out groups?

i get it, i don't like being on team speak and getting into that awkward phase of 4+ but not 8.. i was just saying, that there are fifth wheels and they should be able to get to the party also.. Plus 8 groups would be somewhat of a joke.. Unless your hardcore...
Soo what do you do with 9 people?

i was just expressing the comment that i think there are working on a lobby system.. in which people would lobby up the lances before the dropped.. so if ou had 9.. i guess it would be 2 lances plus the +1 and then 3 randoms would fill the last lance.

Its also not clear if 8v8 is going away all together, or can you do 8v8 in place of 12 v 12..

They have in fact said only 1-4 and 12 person groups, I very much doubt you can "pick lances" in the new lobby system as that would basically be sync dropping... And why would 8 person groups be a joke?

I think i said +8 would be somewhat of a joke.. Meaning it's very hard for a "lone wolf" group to find 8 to make a pre made party .. and seeing how only 8 parties are supposed to drop with 8 parties (which. when you make a group of 8 depending on the time of day, you might sit there for a while to find a match.).. making a 12 party vs a 12 party that much harder..
So your back to the reality of needing smaller parties to make your larger party.. or more flexible groups of 4.. ect. ect.
