Actually it has already, my friends and I are all very much looking forward to this fix we have awaited for a VERY long time. Five, count em, FIVE friends I hang out with constantly are finally going to sit down and give this another go. Six of us on a lan we ALWAYS had at least one, two, even six map issues all at once. For a game that we had waited so long for, just to see it glitchy and bugged and seeing no attention given to those issues months after release they all threw in the towel.
I'm not saying its unplayable with a bugged out hud or iff, it just looks like ****. Noone in their right mind (hey i kept playin) that isnt a complete fanboy would try to trudge through those bugs for countless matchs. I know I did, but I certainly understand why my friends wanted nothing more to do with it.
FINALLY, I can get these guys to sit down and melt some metal again! Lets hope its a solid fix. As for fps issues, I have 90fps on highest settings, a single ATI GPU, There are voip servers LISTED FOR THE PUBLIC. I dont know about you but most games with built in voip the hardcores still use 3rd party voip. The only fps drop I ever get is in heat vision due to its terrible memory leak that still needs to be addressed.
MANY SLI/XFIRE SETUPS ARE NOT CONFIGURED TO COOL PROPERLY AND CAUSE MORE HEAT THAN A SINGLE CARD ENDING IN LESS FPS THAN A SINGLE GPU. People stuff these things in these tiny rigs and expect more preformance, when all they get is further heat issues. Many of them it was simply a heat issue to begin with and they spend hundreds of dollars on a second card when all they needed was proper ventilation and airflow. Do not create turbulance, just use exhaust fans with a clear intake, do not force air into your pc. (The heat I speak of is northbridge, not the gpu directly. There are VERY FEW motherboards on the market with proper chipset cooling, all of my boards I have added heatsinks/airflow to the pathetic excuse for chipset coolers and seen a HUGE improvement in preformance. Asus, Abit, MSI, Lanparty, Foxcon, all these boards I have owned and ALL have northbridge heating issues.)

PGI announce that an ANNOYING and COMPLEX bug that is HARD to reach has finally been fixed, they still find a WAY to COMPLAIN. Seriously... Just maybe a thanks at least or something ?
Dixit :
Maybe you haven't been here long enough, but PGI should be thanking US (not so much me, since I stopped playing months ago) for suffering through all the terrible design decisions, questionable marketing, lies, and atrocious QA. The only reason people are still playing this game is because of the IP. They don't deserve a single ounce of gratitude from anyone.

Yeah, I get great fps on a single ATI GPU as well. I rarely ever got HUD bugs before, but it's nice they're fixing it for people who did.

P.S. I appreciate the amount of info coming from you recently. In the past it was like you were all clammed up, now it's like reading an open book. I'm sure the fan base appreciates this, I do.

You stopped playing months ago and now just hang around the forums to write up non-productive, toxic posts? Sounds like you have a bad case of "no life."

Yeah being a full time student, with a job, a wife, and 100 other hobbies beg to differ to your moronic "no life" comment. Nice rebuttal though, I mean you really proved how wrong I was.
