Posted ImageOk, its not very detailed, but I designed it to use with various game engines to see which one I liked best. Took 2 hours to build in Blender and is rendered in Daz 3D. Ignore the cockpit. I got that from the Vanishing Point website and it is a model of a cockpit from one of "those other guys" 'mechs.

Interesting. I think the dorsal cannon needs to be considerably bigger (it is over 10% of the mech's total mass) and I feel the cockpit needs to be lower slung (which might look interesting with the high shoulders) to capture some of the menace of the original.

be curious to see where you take this.

There is still a lot of work to do. This mech would be around 50 tons with a medium dorsal laser instead of an autocannon. Maybe its an Uziel variant instead of a Marauder? This was only a test. LOL

And a good start. I have not yet started using blender (am waiting til after I move to use it and my new tablet), so ain't a knock, just some constructive feedback. I could see it going the Marauder way easily though, just notice a trend of late (not just on yours) is to mini-me the dorsal autocannon (Shortpainter did it too, and I tend to have to reduce mine cuz I habitually super-size it, lol)

Nice art.. but waaay to much Mecha and not enough BattleTecha. ;-)
