my only complaint from pics is scale. If a ppc is huge on an Awesome it needs to be gigantic on a Blackjack. I suggest they never scale down a weapon. To make it easier have a large and medium arm to mount some of these weapons on and call it a day. Overtime I think they will adjust them plus the overall looks accordingly. As of now we are getting what we asked for.

its just like the pictures. but when you customize its worse with the big ballistic weapons.

Those weapons go off the edge of the arms.

a beta, that releases content once in a while, most of it paid.

IMO they release new content pretty damn fast. The only things requiring real money are hero/champion mechs, camo specs, paints, and vanity cockpit items. To be competitive at any level of this game requires zero money invested.

Let me get on my soapbox for a moment...
I'm so sick and tired of the current entitled attitude of people these days. You can play and enjoy this game entirely free for hundreds of hours with no obligations to IGP or PGI. Are they so evil to ask for money for things that add flavor and additional enjoyment to the game? How are the developers to pay their bills if they cant make anything off of this venture? What would be the point? Do you have any Idea what It costs to actually produce a good video game these days? It can range anywhere from 1 to 100 million dollars. That doesn't include marketing costs or server hosting. Where are they supposed to get that money from, magic wish granting leprechauns?

On the topic of the misaligned barrels, looks like they may need to rework the model a bit from what I've been hearing; haven't had a chance to get home and test out myself, but it wouldn't be the first time they needed to adjust a mech model to fix something wrong. I remember back when they released the Centurion, it didn't have a skin yet, but they pushed it out, so we could test it.

Anyone else thinking the Blackjack is too tall for its weight?

I took some screenshots while piloting a Blackjack standing in front of mechs in the Training Grounds:

No. What you see is a result of perspective and not perfectly fitting cockpit.

I can't access the main computer right now, but if you got someone to give you a picture of the Hunchie ann Blackjack next to each other either from a 3D program or from in-game perspective of a third person, you'd see they are pretty much the same height.
