You’re in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, it’s crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can’t, not without your help. But you’re not helping. Why is that?

and a few follow up questions: why did you end up in the desert anyway? is your trip out to the desert related to mexican drug smuggling? how much would the FBI offer as a reward for turning you in?

You have offended my posts! I demand an honor duel!

Also Mr. Forst, is it possible to get this thread sent to Ktown?

No

Maybe who knows?

Good question. Mr. Forst what is the forum hierarchy?

That would involve giving it more thought than it's worth

You're watching a stage play - a banquet is in progress. The guests are enjoying an appetizer of raw oysters. The entree consists of boiled dog stuffed with rice. The raw oysters are less acceptable to you than a dish of boiled dog. Why is that?

Invoking Godwin's Law.

You are in Berlin, 1933. Somehow, you find yourself in a position where you can effortlessly steal {Godwin's Law}'s wallet. This theft will not affect {Godwin's Law}'s rise to power, the nature of WW2, or the Holocaust. There is no important identification in the wallet, but the act will cost {Godwin's Law} forty Reichsmarks and completely ruin his evening. You do not need the money. The odds that you will be caught committing this act are less than 2 percent. Are you ethically obligated to steal {Godwin's Law}'s wallet?

System Administrator Appreciation Day is in 3 days (July 26th). Will PGI be showing you that appreciation in ways other than your salary or paycheck?

What do you worry about? Multi-million dollar black market viruses like Stuxnet filled with Zero Day exploits that unintentionally (or intentionally) get released into your company's system?

I like that when I'm training cadets! Hard workers who don't ask why questions all the time. They keep their mouth shut, their head down, work hard, get their paycheck and silently slip out the door. Perfect little soldiers. <3
