well you do get exp and c-bills based on how many resource points you have at the end of the game, if it gave you a cbill payout every time you capped a point that would just give you more money if you didnt defend the objectives but capped them after the enemy got them so i like the fact its the total resource at the end you get rewarded for and not simply capping a point

I disagree. The job of all lights and fast Cicadas in conquest is capping. Plain and simple. If you are in a light and help your team engage, you will lose to me and my team, even if I am the only light. I know my job, which is capping. Only when we have a sufficient lead on cap points or enemies dead do I engage. I agree that it sucks that I don't get as many c-bills or xp as I should when my team wins as a direct result of my efforts, but that's just how it is. If you don't like it, run a brawler. And Corison, saying that it takes no skill to run around at 150 kph is just wrong. It is very easy to die while running around at 151.5 kph in a Spider. That's my reality. If you don't think so, I suggest you buy a Spider 5D and see how you do in it.
you may have some special team that you run with that can do that but in the typical pug it all to often ends up being 3-4 heavies/assults vs there entire team in the center because everyone has your mindset. In pugs the norm is lights/mediums run off heavies and assaults get steamrolled then the other team caps everything while hunting down the last few. Who should do what is based on the group you happen to be in at the time. If there is a spider in the group he should do the capping for the most part but leaving 3 or 4 heavy/assaults to take on there main force is a really bad way to go about "winning".
I also agree that capping bases should give more than it does and winning should always pay more than losing but... it doesn't, until it does my goal in every match is to keep as many on my team alive as possible
