1. ACCEPT THE TRUTH – “NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR WITHOUT
YOUR CONSENT”
You simply have multiple choices when playing this game, first and foremost:
See that teamwork can improve your chances of winning (let alone surviving
more than a couple of minutes). I'm not talking in game chat, it's bulky, no
one can type while under fire. Find a group by exploring the house forums,
the merc forums or find people willing to become friends as lone wolves.
Use 3rd party chat and learn to work as a team using strengths each of you
can use with one another. Once you build mechs, do so with the midset of
playing with your team.
2. LET THE HEALING PROCESS BEGIN
This game is a work in progress just like any other MMO out there, there
will be peaks and valleys based on the opinions of each player. Respect
their opinion and feel free to express yours. But don't get so blindsided by
your anger that you're willing to just come in the forums to chastise PGI on
a rage fueled posting frenzy. Take a second and try to think of how to make
a flaw you see into a suggestion on how to fix it.
3. ASK QUESTIONS
We all know that the devs will reply in their own
time with a response they've tested and tested again. In their eyes it should
work. Our job is to ask objectively that when we get it do we need it changed
to fit the player base.
4. BE WILLING TO CHANGE YOUR MIND
Open your eyes to the fact that with objectivity your stoic
opinion can be adapted for the better if you listen to constructive critisism
and be willing to change your opinion based on it.
“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used
when we created them.” Albert Einstein
5. ENVISION THE END RESULT
Your ideas and suggestions go beyond you to affect the whole of us.
Envision your ideas to see beyond the next patch or the one after that.
Nothing is going to get resolved immediately.
6. LOOK INTO YOUR MIND’S EYE – VISUALIZE TO MATERIALIZE
We all know that there are different groups out in the community that
are stubborn with the ideology they played with. Whether it be the old BT
TT, the old MW games or other games with similarities to this one. But this
is not a game you are creating to involve a mass audience. Offer
suggestions and opinions that build to a wide audience, becuase that's
what PGI is doing.
7. GET EMOTIONAL
You want to make sure that in the end this game is as fun for others to
play as it is fun to you. Be passionate in your gaming, in the opportunity
to help others be better players and to evolve this game onto something
that lasts for a long time. And if it ever does end, that when someone else
tries making another MW game, you can use this as an example to draw
some help from not belittle it to suggest it's avoidance.
“The emotions aren’t always immediately subject to reason, but they are always immediately subject to action.” William James

I'd rather flip this around and aim it at PGI...

Engage with the community. Involve them. No one is expecting you to blindly agree to all of the demands but open & honest discussion with the reasons behind the decisions fosters far better feedback than just moving the threads to K-town, etc.
We all make mistakes, when you make one don't refuse to acknowledge and correct them.
Not just envision it, but communicate it. Again a lot of this goes back to how much of the reasoning behind the decisions that is communicated. The reasoning lets us see the intention rather than guessing.
"this is not a game you are creating to involve a mass audience." I couldn't agree more. Some of the recent decisions have ostracised the existing community while attempting to make the game more mainstream.

Ahhh come on Wolves, some people just don't love the Dakka, they love the Pew or the Swoosh more. A few of us like to finger our mouses to love all 3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
