This is a simple request. Please add tracer rounds to the Machine Gun as shown in video below...

Considering you can see the bullets in flight aren't all BT mgs already tracer rounds?

I think he means make it brighter, currently it's kind of dull looking; the best thing about MGs right now, aesthetically, is their sound. My opinion, of course.

True. I also think we should see tracer rounds at night!

It would look cooler, but I'm not convinced it's necessary with the preexisting retical and spot on accuracy of the weapon. Even out of optimal range, if your retical is square on the target you will have your best chances of impact.

Wonderful idea. Tracer fire effects on AC-2's, Machine Guns and AMS at night? Yes please.

I think they just want a longer brighter tracer rather than the glob a lot of the ac's are right now. It would probably look better particularily in the ac2s case.

All that video does for me is think we need more cone of fire and less accuracy is normal.

No. Just another factor to make it easier for the enemy to see where the fire is coming from.

Make it a toggle ability / bit of fluff for MG and AC users.
  • Toggle tracer ability on - makes leading targets, especially at night, easier.
  • Taking too much incoming fire - toggle tracer mode off.
