On the BAP front, I still don't think it will help all that much. I just wish that they went with my idea of NARCs acting like the motion sensor in Black Ops in that you can place it anywhere and only the person who places the NARC can see what passes through it unless your team mates have BAP which allows them to see what friendly NARCs sees as long as they are within say 280m and are able to detect enemy NARCs in 180m. Then NARCs and BAP would be useful. But, to be honest, regardless if PGI uses my idea or not, I just want NARC and BAP to be useful, PERIOD!!
Edit: And no, I am not proud of using Black Ops as an example to describe the possible use of NARC to Blops motion sensor.

Well at least we don't have to wait until the patch notes tomorrow in order to be disappointed. We can get started on that right now!

Yeah, some poptarters are getting a bit upset about it, and people who want SRMs to remain all spread out and chaotic aren't going to like the new flight-cone they're developing. And who really wants HSR for unguided missiles? Lots of people are gonig to be very disappointed when they find out PGI has been wasting their time on these developments...

answer: LRM boat brings a BAP and hopes ECM mech doesn't stand between 180m and 161m of him. derp
It won't work like that. BAP will only do what it does now on an ECM mech. In other words, you'll still have to switch between disrupt and counter. Not sure where I read that but I think it's in one of the Ask the Devs.
It's not in an Ask the Devs, since I read those regularly, but Prosperity Park did mention it in a NGNG podcast, which is a bit disappointing to those of us who can't listen to podcasts most of the time (most of my forum lurking is at work). I may have to rethink my strategy.

What is really to be said about those who are upset about Improvements?
Perhaps they don't want their advantage to be gone.
Either way, sounds good to me; Can't wait to test the new patch out.

Well, according to prosperity park, those improvements that we've been waiting for over two months that were supposed to be released tomorrow apparently isn't going to happen until the beginning of June, and there has been no official post about it, which means that a great majority of people who don't bother to listen to 1 hour long podcasts will be disappointed.
So I guess instead of missile buffs and netcode fixes, we just get a new mech and map for the poptarts to continue poptarting while scouts become further obsolete with the new consumable and modules, and the fact that streaks are going to return with a firey passion because hey, its not like they're getting fixed anytime soon, so lights won't be able to even engage without becoming a poptart themselves.
Probably going to find out the flamer buff which I guess is the only thing I'm looking foward too now will be delayed tomorrow...

Hold on. Is this sarcasm, or sincerity? Asking who wants HSR for unguided missiles is like asking who wants HSR for ballistics. The answer is everybody. It'll be nice to have SRM hits against lights actually count.

Wish they would update the content tracker with that info, instead of still having it listed, even with "If not May 21, very next patch".

With the new BAP It would need less ECM raven/commando dancing around my LRMboat to prevent me from firing at target outside 180m. I still need someone to help me peel them off my back though.
Too often when Im moving with a group, 1 or 2 ECM light will charge in and wreck havoc to cover for their advancing heavy and assaults. Now I can continue Lurming their party in these situation.
The increase flight speed of LRM are also welcome, not sure how game changing it is for me since I Lurm at 300~600m.
Will wait and see on the new LRM damage and flight pattern.

I cant wait to try my streak cat but I don't expect so much of it.
Get some gear instead of weapons only.. each day I see at least one Stalker 5S armed with 4PPCs only. That mech can carry 2 AMS if I remember and with that it can contribute to missile defence to whole group buuuut noooooo, I want to kill all of them (stalker pilot would say).
I think that new patch regarding streaks, LRMs, SRMs is cool. Game is stupid atm, I can see only lasers and bullets and people running around like nutcases firing at enemies, friendlies, birds, rabbits, dogs... no a trace of tactics or some idea of organization. Things need to be changed occasionally so patch is welcome even if its bad.
Hopefully, in next patch, PPCs will be nerfed and jumptards will get steel ball on their leg!
