given the ammount of tears from those who cant handle poptarts your fuel supply must already been higher then you can ever use.

i just hope that they dont over do it and end up making my treb 7m useless. and note i do not use my jump jets in the lazy highlander or cataphract poptart way, i rarely sit still when im in my treb.

Hehe. A treb not moving is a giant target with a bullseye and a kick me sign on it.

Yeah at least two more weeks of my Cents I bought recently sitting in the mechlab collecting dust because yet again a patch with the SRMS remaining crap. I think it's time to revise my expectations on the devs once more. Before this patch I was 30/70, where the things I looked forward to I was expecting has a 70% chance to be delayed. I guess 20/80 makes more sense after this patch.

There is a song by the Rolling Stones called No Expectations, which I like to follow.

When you expect nothing, you cannot be disappointed with the results and only surprised with the achievements.

No HSR for missiles, and SRM's getting bumped back is disapointing. They better not pull the "The first patch of the month is all things you buy for MC with no real fixes" crap again.

That was Omid then, his statement was that *IF* HSR didn't make it into today's patch for whatever obscure reason that may or may not happen, it would definitely be in the very next one, or possibly hot-fixed in.

Previous to that, Omid said that the programing was done and it was in testing, and he felt confident that it would be included in today's patch.

Also, Bryan Ekman confirmed last week that it would be in today's patch.

P.S. bye bye MWO for another 2 week.

Sorry... but I cannot understand you.

I heard "something something potatoes in 2 weeks."

Can anyone translate?

During the most recent dev team Twitch.tv live stream, one of the devs casually dropped in chat that missile HSR isn't being added til June 4th. Nobody else in chat seemed to pick up on it at all, which surprised me, so I assumed it was common knowledge that it wasn't going to be in the May 21st patch.

Either that or someone made a booboo.
Which one? IGP, NGNGTV, or PGI's 8-mans?

Correct, Omid's recording in NGNG #72 is almost two weeks old now and just last week Bryan said it would be included on Twitter. Now I hope that also includes the SRM flight pattern.

Oh we'll see in an hour or so if HSR for missiles will be included. I sure hope so, the missile nerf have made so many builds and variants almost pointless.

I'm guessing HSR won't be included, but speeding up LRM's holds promise, increasing time for PPC's holds a little promise (not a ton, and only if you push the lightening boat to get the impact you want), and a few other nice tweaks.....I see alot of great discussion (appreciate all throwing down their perspectives) and I remain somewhat optimistic that this patch will help. Lack of SRM/HSR will make it less than I'd hoped for but honestly, it seems like a decent patch on the very near term horizon here.

Too bad I won't be online to play it till tomorrow night at earliest, lol.

They are yet not anymore viable than before. Throwing in a poor 45 tonner won't make the problem go away.
Sadly.

It's as we expected. The only surprise I see is LRM dmg increased and ac/5 cooldown decreased. hmmmm
