Thermal Vision Indicating Mech Heat Levels

My idea is that since you generate heat when you fire, it would be interesting if using thermal vision would allow you to determine how close to overheating a mech is from the intensity of their glow, or being able to spot a hotter target from further away.

This could allow players to identify vulnerable targets without having to rely purely on the tactical readout, as well as having players be more concerned about their level of heat generation.

I guess if the thermal vision let us see some white hot air emanating from the mech that would be a good enough indicator.

I though it did do this. You can see how hot a mech is by looking at how bright it glows.. Not overly usefull as it is hard to spot but i am pretty sure there is a difference. I might be wrong

As for seeing things at more range with heatvision... No... Use regular vision for long range spotting. We had the blue world of death for long enough.
