I believe that tactic can get you warned as it is disallowed. Ask Koniving, he mentions being warned for that.

Still, there needs to be screenshots of this. Or multiple stacks. A "Threelander" would be pretty awesome.

I still remember the first time I saw this. Right after ECM came out. four man of streak cats on raven 3l's. 16 SSRM runing at 151kph was a short match. Ravens were still unhittable then too, and hit detection on the cats was bad.

Was in an 8v8 in a team of highlanders. We made a pyramid 4 highlanders tall, which took so long that by the time the enemy pre-made found us they were so confused that they didn't know what to do, so they stood around and watched. Upon which we multi-poptart-alpha'd them. Was funny.

Then we got our arses kicked cos standing out in the open is never a good way to play. Was worth it for the screenshots.

Closest I have done is in frozen city, i was chasing an atlas I had managed to outbrawl in my 9m awesome, in the cave- he turned and ran off that high drop off at the one end. not wanting to lose my prey, i Geranimo'd off right behind him. except Ilanded on my Spider team mate. i took leg dmg, he got squished.

i would love to see this 150kph warhorse nonsense.

For those who don't know why this isn't allowed: 90 ton mech with 50+ firepower moving at 151 kph with a small increase of damage thanks to the much faster mech it's sitting on also firing at the same target. Likewise, the big mech is untargetable as it rubberbands along. I've seen it. Cool? Hell yes. Broken? Definitely.

EDIT: I just made this, but to give you a good idea of why you don't want to see someone else really abusing this, here's what could be sitting on top of that 151 kph light mech: HEAVY METAL (Normally, most would probably laugh at such a build, but 1) maxed armor, 2) high damage, 3) while slow on its own, it's still going 151 kph while on top of that light mech, 4) any of the weapons aside from the dual PPCs doesn't generate enough heat on its own to increase the heat of the mech AT ALL, so it can easily focus on firing only 1 weapon at a time to keep firing forever, and it can afford to take the time to do that thanks to the fact it's heavily armored AND moving at 151 kph.)

Really, as funny as this is, they need to implement the "Death from Above" mechanics. A Highlander landing on a Raven should smash the Raven into the ground.

I saw a game where a Highlander jumped on a spider 5D. Imagine the other teams surprise by being base capped by a Highlander 2 minutes into a match on Tourmaline.

It is most likely banned for the same reason it's banned in just about every game.

Stacking gives snipers/shooters/scouts unnatural vantage points that they normally would not have and also in the case of this one do you really want 4 Jenners carrying 4 Atlases towards you at 151Kph?

Funny yes, allowed? most likely not, would I cry about it? no it's too funny but the net is full of Halo ragequit stories about this tactic lol

In fun it's cool.

If you are actually using it to gain an advantage it's pure cheese and gives you a shield from some weapons so is really not cool to use as a tactical mech formation

That said we should drop two 8 mans and make cool formations and shoot at each other and film it
