So, now that we're in open beta, let me say that we already had over 150 MechWarriors sign up during Closed Beta. True, many of them are likely to be vapor warriors that we'll never hear from again, and many more will be casual gamers, but we do have a solid core of dedicated and skilled players with a strong interest in this game. For the very first day of Open Beta, on a weekday evening US, for a while we had 3 full drop teams of 8 playing, and a partial 4th team, despite the power losses in the eastern US. These were almost all Closed Beta participants, most of which are all Founders. About 1/4th of our current core of players were with HJ for at least one of: Netmech, StarSiege, and MechWarrior4.

Hopefully this is just the start. When Community Warfare goes live, we fully intend to be a top ranked Merc unit, going after the best planets available.

So if you want to be among the best, on a stable team that will still be around when the Bushwacker is released in this game, and you're looking for a team that's not too serious & uptight or too relaxed & casual, check us out and see if we're a fit for you.

The webpage is complicated many different games and 1 clan. I can't find a channel just for MWO mechwarriors. So I am having trouble finding a party. Someone in the IRC mentioned "mumble", but I couldn't find what that was about.

IRC and Mumble are our two main forms of communication. Hop on IRC, and we can walk you through how to get mumble up and running.

I will presume you are overly impressed, and not at all turned off by our level of weirdness and geekiness. If that is the case, awesome!

If that's not the case, than I reject your reality, and the first sentence applies. :)

This has gone somewhat off-topic.

For any potential Juraians; we are focussed on many things, but all of the mechwarrior. Besides a long and impressive history throughout the last decade and a bit, we have member created fictions, rich and colourful back stories, plenty of different people to meet and talk to, and take a hell of a lot of pride in what we do, both on and off the field.

If this sounds like your sort of place, then have a read of the site.

If the last few paragraphs were too long for you, don't even bother signing on.

Killing 165 tons in a jenner is not exactly impressive... Thats only 1 atlas, and 1 catapult, both easy kills in a jenner. But apparently someone thought you were a decent enough pilot to try and recruit.
