Has there been any input, or thought about salvage for the victor of the battle. Spare mechs, parts, and such?

Lots of people say it shouldnt be in the game, I have yet to see where the devs have said no yet though

(so I will hold out hope)
(the ability to lose stuff would add a very interesting element to the game. Like why I like playing EVE)

I guess so. By the era that this is taking place the need for salvage is a lot less demanding. So I can see that for sure.

From what i hear, there will not be a slavage mechanic in this game.

I think it was feared that players would attmept to fight in a way that could cause a team to loose because that player wanted salvage. This would be like aiming for the pilot and not form damage/kills/objective.

but i dont have a quote from a dev, just hearsay.

Something must be possible to make salvage viable. Make it random at the end of a match for winners with bonus to the roll for it based on who accumulated the most xp for the match and so on. Hell I dont know. :)

Salvage makes lots of sense for a single player pve campaign. Not seeing how it would work in a multiplayer PVP scenario.

THE DEVS HAVE STATED THERE WILL BE NO SALVAGE PERIOD END OF STORY STOP ASKING ABBOUT IT....

Salvage would make it tougher for the fishies to balance the economic pay outs and still convince people to give them money to buy new ER weapons and the like.
