It will be like a champion catapult..........armed with a large pulse and a lrm20.......thats it..... and it it comes with like one ton of ammo. Just one LRM20 on one catapult ear.......


But wait because of a typo its just one large laser........ So its one large laser and a one LRM20.......catapult champ....... it only has 2 hard points. one for that missle and one for that laser.....thats it......

But it has a ecm hard point.......in its head. So you can't fit ecm....but you get the hard point. But you get like 20% boost to C-bills.

One eared catapult..........you know that has to be cool.

OO-OO look we keep the ears.......they move the catapult cockpit from the head......to the other ear! that would be so awsome. And the "missle" launcher can launch the cockpit like a ejection......catapult....so coool! Maybe it lets you target enemies as you eject. Like last minute help. or even does damage like 30 pts damage.

At a glance I know most folks think this is stupid...... I'm telling you people would pay twenty bucks to drive this thing. Be honest if you can click a button to try it......you would.

my money is on mech 20 showing up E3 2013 next month. since it will be in game the following month, akes sense for the sneak peak to be a month ahead and for the long awaited mech to be shown at the big game convention.

maybe they will give us a sneak peak of the timberwolf (wishful thinkng)

Saving a Mech announcement for E3 that isn't a Clan mech is a colossally stupid thing to do. No one at E3 is going to be excited about one mech announcement. Even the Clan mechs shouldn't be announced there, but at least that would be more newsworthy as it involves heavy changes to the game.

Does it make sense... to stop showing concept art... 7 months prior to such a stupid event as the E3 is?

To me, it really doesn't.

E3 is major event, single mech concept art is too trivial for it (they'll probably show off CW and/or U.I. 2.0)

Yes, but they could show it off with it...

but to be honest the only kind of announcement at this point that wouldn't be anticlimactic would be an unseen and that's just not to happen so...

I meant in general. I am sure there are people out there that would get super excited about the Charger, but as a whole no singular mech is going to be met with a chorus of oohs and aahs.
