Tis a sad day. My sympathies go out to her family and friends. Honoring such a young, fallen mechwarrior with a special mech would be epic.

Though I believe credits should be given to the right people when they deserve it, that being said I must say you are a great man indeed if you disclaim all credits.

If you want the thread pinned, use the report function. The more votes for pinning it gets, the more likely it will be, that it actually gets pinned.

I fully support this idea. I wonder if they could make it so you can pay a minimum price *or more* in case people wanted wanted to make a larger donation.

To reply to the "Why not just give money to the cancer center" question, I think this is a good way to get more people to donate and could stream donations in for a long time to come. Months from now the 'Mech could still be available to buy giving new players a chance to donate when they start playing or existing players a chance to donate later if they don't have the funds now. Also, the prize could coerce people into donating who normally would not.

A note to PGI - I bet this would be a great tax write off too!

Yes. Would buy. My daughter is 5 with Type 1 Diabetes. I hope to never experience what that family went through.
