Here's a 10k Quads Cicada model I created using Lightwave. It is kept at low definition in order for the edges to render properly with the cel shader. Modeled, textured, and rigged in about 90 minutes of casual work.

@Kilroy, I know you put a ton of time and effort and I appriciate the attemp to maintain the old mw2 style, but I'd really like you to create your own versions of these in an artform that shows your skills off.

Do a concept sketch, then finalize it in photoshop with some front/side/back orthographics and then block out the 3d model based on those orthos...

This is more of a request for you, because I see you post things up all the time and I wonder what 'you' the artist can do.

Alright, I'll see what I can do.

Spent a few hours getting a Timberwolf/Mad Cat going. It lacks greebles and a few details, but the basic shape is there for now. I'll keep polishing it until it looks good.
