Anyway, if this thing can have 2 arm-mounted gauss rifles, it's probably going to be my new favourite assault mech. Maybe.

Maybe. Not sure I'd do guass other than to try it though. All depends on the actuators since I assume from the art here and Sarna that the LA will always have lower & hand actuators.

The double gauss is just so fun, but it's not really a good build for the CTF-4X because it's so slow. If I can have double gauss, good speed and jump jets, maybe even a couple of small lasers? Sheeeeeet.

As a UMVC3 player, I appreciate the **** out of this. DFA needs to be a proper thing so we can get some foot dives going.

Dear PGI,

Is there a place I can send my revised edit of this post, as an application for being your official staff writer? I'm struggling with ways to express how terrible the writing on this and other recent posts has been without being insulting.

Cheers!
Odinson

Yeah artwork looks nice, yeah now we will have a better 80 ton mech that can run around pretty fast not get its side torsos blown off in 2 seconds(awesome 9m) but that's the thing another 80 ton mech! Y the hell didn't the banshee come in at 95 tons to fill that gap. REALLY wtf. Without hard point sizes I bet a lot of variants will be loaded out simaller to an awesome just better cause it looks smaller and has jump jets. Oh yeah there's the other thing as well pop tart pocolyps 2

while it may have some speed 1 autocannon 1 srm 4 2 medium pulse lasers seems woefully underarmed for an assault...no matter how fast it is.

I should put this as this is just my personal opinion:
Victor has always been looked down on the paper for having insignificant firepower even compared to for example, just the standard Hunchback 4G. People I grew up with back in the day didn't like it too much, it was "just an overweight Hunchback with a lot of ammo to blow up with, without any proper punch".

- But to me... This was the machine that Victor Steiner used in the Trial by Refusal to punch to the face at the Clanners, with "just one AC/20" to fight with(and the other side-arms).
- He stopped the clan invasion basically with this machine. To me this showed, that even with an "insignificant loadout on the paper", you can do miracles. Just as it is in real-life, just as it was in Battletech. Victor epitomizes to me a warmachine that stands above all others ever since my youth in the early 90's, to this very day.

No matter how bad the situation might be, you can make the difference if you believe in yourself, and the machine you work with. I intend to do this even in MWO, as I have done it on the tabletop, and in real life.

while this is the best looking Victor (art wise) I have ever seen... im not getting to excited because I know the final game product will not look like this lol. Something in the game design will make it look off and not right. On that note... I ama bit disapointed in that we get yet another 80 ton mech when we already have the Awesome and a very close to 80 ton mech in the 75 ton Orion being released just a month before the Victor. I thought for sure they would finaly fill the 95 ton slot but hey I guess we still have at least 1 more assault spot to fill before we get the Clans right?

Did no one else read this and see the Fantastic Four reference? The mech is a Victor. The captains name is Von Deum.... Victor Von Doom?

I just died inside...

Great mech though!!
