Will likely be the 16th, I think they do major updates every 2 weeks or so.

The shoulders and hips are always different from the concept art, likely because of movement constraints. Anyone remember when the cataphract had it's arm movement nerfed due to parts clipping? I would rather not go through that again.

someone hire the man that made the victor properly .. why must everything be huge and blocky in this game? what happened to the sleekness that MechWarrior mech were in previous games? Sure some are bulky and huge but here it seems like everything is supersized way beyond things were meant to be.

Pretty disappointed with the 9S. 3 missile hardpoints, and they only allow 12 tubes, which causes 3x srm 6 to stutter fire. 6 tubes for the first launcher, 4 tubes for the second launcher, and 2 tubes for the 3rd launcher. OBNOXIOUS.

Buyers beware.

Even more reasons to skip SRMs and go with streaks, as if we needed more.

I'm liking the Victor, fine machine. I'm also liking the idea of allowing the hardpoints but them coming with a compromise of some sort. It's all about choices, and maintaining mech roles to at least some degree. The stalker already rather usurped the Awesome in the PPC boat role for assaults, can do without repeats of that myself if no one minds. Anyway fine mech, solid, I'm havin a blast with it and I'm not overly fond of assault mechs.,

Victor is a ballistic based mech, all the other weapons are support on this chassis. Seems to shine with decent/high speed and a 25-40 damage loadout.

I agree with you here; I'm over the boating meta of the game at the moment. I love the firepower my atlases bring (without having to boat), but the balance of firepower, speed and armor makes this thing an absolute blast to pilot (despite having the seemingly endless line of enemy boats to contend with). Well done on this one...just need to balance the over boating going on, so I can have a higher fun/rage ratio.

This Mech have a to low Number of Hardpoints.
I like to mount 2 Weapons , always ballistic Weapons with Punch like
Gauss Rifles or Ak20s..

A lonely Weapon deals not enough Damage...

The Victor is underpowered in the Mounts and armed like a Medium

Those Atlas, Stalkers, Gausspults and "Pepp"awesomes or the
"Ak20" Jagermech Boats takes this Mech as a fast lunch, i think

Here must be an other Balance Instrument for a better Gameplay
as the Mount Restrictions..

Not really, since it has ballistics in just one section. You cannot get two AC20s, Gausses, AC10s or even LBX10s in it. 2 UAC5 is the max you can equip. That's not what I'd call ballistic based. It's just a smaller and faster Highlander. We really need a ballistic based assault and I'm quite bored we didn't get it in Victor.

Technically you can have up to 17 tubes if you have LRMs and 12 tubes if you have SRMs.

Play around with the order and size of your missile packs and you will discover this.

SRM6+SRM4+SRM2 = 12 tubes

I have verified this in-game. If the number of tubes is visually matching to the number of missiles, they will all come out at once.

^duh. however notice that 3rd missile point is 2 tubes, so put an lrm 15 in there and watch what happens. Once again, limiting a 3rd missile hardpoint is absolutely stupid being in the LT.

I'm, annoyed that the missile hardpoints are limited by the tubes and are less versatile than the highlander. The hgn will match tube count much better making it a better platform for missiles overall. heaven forbid we get something with the possibility of speed, srms, and JJs on an assault, we might pucker the snipers too much.

It would be THE ballistics assault if they added the VTR-9A and the VTR-9A1.
