I don't know about the rest of you but I'm very excited to have such a great Davion mech added to the line up. I for one will be adding several of these to my mechlab. http://mwomercs.com/...mech-20-victor/

Totally mixed with the release of the Victor. I've always liked the Victor and nearly always used it during my table top days. GREAT support mech but, only because I didn't have my Zeus. So there lies the rub, I really was waiting for a Zeus. Still interested in the Victor though, hopefully they make it more like the concept image of it rather than how they made the Highlander. Thought the Highlander was going to be aweseome... but then they made the arms on the thing look like deformed small T-REX arms compared with the bulk of the mech. But, that is just me being picky.

Davion mech?

Sorry to brust your buddle, but as Hayden pointed out, you don't even know how to make them... and don't even think about that namesake thing.

Wrong.... http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Victor

"Many of these left with Aleksandr Kerensky during the Exodus, and when HildCo Interplanetary's three Victor factories were destroyed during the First Succession War, the 'Mech became a prized target with all sides scrambling to salvage serviceable units. Only Independence Weaponry retained the ability to build new Victors, and with their capture by the Federated Suns during the Second Succession War it became the AFFS' primary assault 'Mech and a favorite command model for battalion and regimental commanders. Though the Draconis Combine would eventually retake the company following the War of 3039, most Kurita samurai were too proud to adopt a 'Mech now associated with their enemy, while the Davions made do with purchasing new models from the rebuilt HildCo factory in St. Ives Compact and funding the construction of Styk's Tao MechWorks."

You Kurita won't even use them anymore.

looks cool but imho its boring in terms of concept art. its like in the middle of comando and atlas. i personally like mechs that look different. i know mechs dont have to look different but lets be honest, all these mechs are pretty much the same. shoot some lasers here, fire some rockets there and the only thing that makes them different is the skin and how that skin functions.

if we really are going to have different mechs, i like them to really look different too ("unique") im much more excited for the orion because that thing is ugly as ***!! and i like that.

Cant say im unhappy to get a great Davion mech in the arsenal...

But on the other hand there where other mechs which would make a better candidate, like for instance the Mauler.

Not sure I get the vodka reference.

Would I have to be drunk if I wanted to pilot one?

Bit sad that we aren't getting the 9A1. Wonder if it would of been too much work for the art team, considering how if you put a NARC in the left torso, you don't get a visual NARC launcher like you would with the Highlanders, but instead a 2 tube launcher (like a (S)SRM2).

I'm personally looking forward to the Victor with great excitement: I've always wanted a mobile assault (that wasn't as large as the Awesome) and one that had ballistic hardpoints. Now I've got it. ;)

Actually its abit taller then the awesome. The body height is about the same, but the Victor's head is on top of the torso where as the Awesome has the head inside the torso.

Makes it a lot easier to grind out mechs and give players the feeling they are getting something new.
