You know, it does make me wonder...
With all the hate and heat penalty going against mechs carrying energy weapons in general now, where would that leave the Awesome to be? The 8Q can only stack up to 7 energy weapons, and with PPCS and Large Lasers being nerfed even more in the next patch...

All we got is just the medium lasers, its smaller cousin and its pulse counterparts. Add that to the issue with torso hitbox and the rise of ballistic mechs on the field....what do we have left that can fight against those weapons on equal footing?

I'd leave arm debris about the size of the centurian arm debris when it loses an arm. This allows it to take more damage from torso twisting. 50% of damage transfers inward if it hits a destroyed component.

Also make arm hitboxes extend over the top of the side torsi (as in mech lab) and shrink ST/CT hitboxes to match.

Keep dreaming...

Also, a higher engine cap would be nice, at least 325 so it could get an extra heatsink. In reality though, i'm not sure it can be saved, just remain a folly for those who like a challenge, or who want to make the most of a gimped mech.

A Hitbox adjustment would help... Oh for the love of Thor give them a quirk that lets them fire 3 PPCs with out getting smacked with the heat hammer.
