My personal prognosis is that somthing is wrong with my internet traffic. For 2 reasons, i can play in training grounds just fine. When i enter an actual drop my voice on ts gets very laggy, and while playing i rubber band very badly. YES i have tried playing with only mechwarrior up no ts no internet explorer. Same thing.
Anyway heres what I've tried already short of a full system reformat.
Cleared cache
cleared shaders
Checked .pak files
Run the mechwarrior repair tool (after every reinstall as well)
Ive reinstalled approximately 20 times
Updated Nvidia 560 ti card
Rolled back to before vs 603....
reinstalled network card
updated
rolled it back
tried connecting through a vpn system
set router to default,
set up triggering and ports
made sure firmware was up to date
specificaly set mtu to auto, 1458, and 1500
made sure packets and random accepting packets were enabled
Ive also sacrificed a cheeseburger in hopes karma would help... ALAS.
Id appreciate any and all suggestions, hell ive tried dumb stuff i knew wouldent help but figured "Why not?".
Thanks

Second, make sure to open the following ports:
TCP 45461
TCP 45464
UDP 21000 to 30000
If it still doesn't work, please let me know and we'll dig deeper.

GameMaster
MechWarrior® Online
and used a ModemTweaker from Speed Guide.net
set to Optimal, and reboot the PC
it seems to be running better, no drops to Mechlab
10 games running
Hope this helps

I had already factory reset and reloaded the firmware yesterday, i had those ports and Qos, but not the 21000,30000. I updated this suggestion to the router and downloaded the modem app set to optimal, successfully rewrote my registry, and ...
No improvement. Crashed 3 out of 3 games less than 2 minutes in.

Before that, I had tried restarting, re installing, messing with gfx settings, update router firmware, reset router, virus scan, clear cache, etc.
Hopefully I wont have to update.

today however issue continues
Reading the malformed Packet threads - this cannot be fixed with MWO repair tool
so we are S.O.L. till PGI decides to fix it
Having spent nearly the last year in beta, I can honestly say this is the straw that is breaking my back.
Looking at other Games available and seeing those Beta's; I am greatly discouraged in PGI's progress
I really hope somebody is paying attention

It would help if PGI atleast acknowledged the issues and put a post out to say "we are trying" but the silence is killing me ! Customers just need to be kept informed. This no news/feedback from the Devs is building more and more resentment, even from those that dont usually vent.
Please PGI, communication skills is an easy fix. Perhaps a good place to start?

Ive tried both local and external VPN both as standalones and together, the local had no effect when i used the external vpn my latency shot through the roof and packet loss climbed to 20% !!!, so i stopped using both vpn's.
Im Currently installing mwo on an old Toshiba L105 unit, it has only BARELY run the game before so if it does successfully again, ill wipe my system. 2T's of data and 200GB of game redownloading/installing is really gona Suck eggs.

Lucky you I've had the issue since January. I've reported on the issue many times a week since then. Still no fix.

Play fine all night Wed and most of Thurs evening. Decided to get a day of premium time, BANG crashes 8 of 10 matches.
Played some on Sat after the premium time had expired, no major issues. Maybe 1-2 crashes all day.
Played most of Sunday afternoon, nearly no issues. Figuring the bug was solved, I purchased more premium time. Havent been able to play since. Sunday night I did a fresh install, crashed 10 for 10 games, Yesterday I tried every posted fix on the forum save buying a VPN connection. Nothing fixes it. Now it crashes back to mechlab on every match. I imagine as soon as my 3day premium is gone, it'll back to working great again.
Submitted a ticket Sunday night with the requested logs and now it shows I have no active tickets. Closing in on the nasty email to corporate demanding my money back....
Update: Played awhile tonight, only 1 crash to mechlab. Still have a full day of premium left too, I have no idea whats changed but I like it!

This does seem to be related to a recent patch. It seems to happen very often now and is quite an annoying bug.
