Not sure if I got this all right, but I try to explain nonetheless.
In the weapon section I've tried to explain the weapons from a neutral point of view.
So someone who never had to do anything with battletech would get a grasp what the difference is between regular AC's, UAC's and LBX AC's for instance. Or regular lasers, pulse lasers and ER lasers on another hand.
In the following chapter (the one written in italic) I'll try to give some insight about the "good" and the "bad" weapons.
It shall help beginners who are actually seeking this kind of advice. Everyone is, of course, entitled to test out as much as possible. But from my experiences in this (and also past mechwarrior games - been playing MW4 online very successfully for almost a decade) game, those were the "to go" and "not to go" weapons.
Since I actually helped to improve the game of a lot of people (both here and in other mechwarrior games) I think that I know what I am writing about.
At the moment I'm thinking to implement a mech tier list from a competitive point of view in one of the next updates. It could help newbies to avoid the utterly crappy mechs and probably point people who want to play on high competitive levels into the right direction.
