Both images were commissioned by Battletech fans. I am a freelancer for Catalyst and do some of the official tabletop game art but I still enjoy creating these unnofficial designs on the rare occasion when I have some spare time.
This top design is supposed to be a Stalker IIC with some clan tech.

Hi Alex. Things are truckin' along. Busy as always. I bet they keep you busy on this game! I hope you get to do some original designs for the game too. It was so refreshing to do the Hellhound and Flea designs for MW Mercs without being tied to the source material. I can only imagine how incredible your designs would look.
People keep asking me what I think of Hawken and I tell them that the environments looks crazy great, but the mechs are a bit dorky. Definitely not a problem with MWO. All of your stuff has been terrific. I especially like the Centurion
Did you see the Omega mini? Mini is a bit of an oxymoron since it is HUGE.
Keep up the great work!!!

And this is still a fan art (sorry, Alex):

Yes, that's me.
... and here's another one I just did. This time I made the Stlaker into a Land Air Mech and used the MWO Stalker as the base. Sorry it's so sloppy, but I did it during my lunch break

An aerofighter with the Stalker's armaments would be up around the Stuka's class. Nice and scary all at the same time.
