So general consensus is they will be just like the Great Houses? It will be interesting to see how popular clans are to play if they come out as 'super hard mode'(numerical disadvantages, etc...) versus IS mechs.
The other side of it is what happens to the Merc Corps who have directly taken a canon name? There are quite a few whose 'we're not really mercs' stance will be hard to justify if the timeline runs it's course and they get their lore-arse handed to them at the Battle of Buggleugs or whatever its called when their specific clan gets pasted.
