Right now we have this sliding bar, which works okay if you have very little total experience on a mech. However, if you're trying to transfer from a mech that has 10s, if not hundreds of thousands of experience, the slider breaks down. You can't make small transfers.

The conversion slider needs to be changed to allow people to be more precise. I have 76 MC and I want to convert it to GXP, but the mechs I have maxed have too much Experience to do it. The slider jumps way too high. This is a problem that will only get worse with time as people play the game more and rack up more Exp on their favorite mechs.

Translation: You want the mechlab selling item box instead of the woefully inaccurate slider of fail.

Good luck.

You have to consider that 1 mc = 25 EXP converted, That is a set amount, and that amount is exact..

You cant get half 6 oz of a 12 oz Can of Coke out of the machine just because you have 50% of the dollar to buy one..

So 76 Mc is about 1900 XP.. If you have 1890 XP you will only be able to convert 75 MC over.. and you will have some XP left over..

Your post is very vague and contradictory, I personally have not had problems converting 5000 xp chunks over for amounts over 76 MC's. But i have never had over 100,000 XP (4,000 MC) on 1 mech at a time to convert over either.. And i doubt the devs would of conceived someone farming with 1 mech that much..

So for clarity... You have "Hundreds of thousands" of XP (300,000?) of that you want to use 76 MC to Convert 1900 XP to GXP, and the game wont let you??

I read Deathlikes comment, and i think i understand what you are saying..

A Simple solution would be to have the Slider bar.. and at the bottom, put a left right Button at the bottom for "fine tuning"
Or allow the Left / Right arrow keys to fine tune the number.. 1 tap = 1 mc.. slide for a few hundred.

they could attach the slider to the mouse wheel or arrow keys.

That would be less than obvious, not that it wouldn't help. You always want these mechanisms easy, obvious, and simple to use.
