Grouped Weapons Being Destroyed

In the BJ-1X, I am running 6xSL + 2xLL, spread across arm/torso/torso/arms. Three times now, I have had all of my small lasers shot out in a single shot, even though the are spread across 4 body parts.

Wow, that would be a big deal if true.

had a similar experience once. ran a cicada. got hit hard on the right torso (felt like double gausses or something). all my weapons in the right torso were gone (duh...), but also my AMS on the left torso, which still had intact armor. i know that internal damage should spread, but that it ignored both the right arm and center torso (which held some ammo to be blown up) and went immediately into the left torso is strange.
and another thing. you 100% sure you did NOT override a heat shutdown, didn't you? because your lasers going skadoosh is a possible result of overheating like a madman.

Did your AMS ran out of ammo?
Or did you put AMS ammo in your right torso and got destroyed?

nope. the AMS was reddened out on my HUD (as in destroyed) but still showing 1000 rounds left (was pretty much my first enemy encounter for that match).

I too have had all my weapons taken out on the Highlander, 2 in an arm and 2 in an adjoining torso section. I've also experienced about 7 ammo explosions on my Jeager that prior to this patch never got any because it has Case on it. The Highlander's armor at times behaves like it is so weak it's as if it's a 30 ton mech. Don't waste your money buying one until they fix this.

keep in mind you do lose your arm if the side torso goes, and if the ammo explodes that is a likely outcome. As for OP idk that seems odd to lose everything on both sides.

So perhaps they've amped the ammo crit senitivity or something. Anything with ammo in it is blowing up ridiculously easy. It's made carrying auto-cannon rounds or AMS rounds really dangerous. You already take a huge weight hit with ballistic weapons, this makes it even worse.
Does it make sense that you'd see an ammo explosion before the armor is gone even with something like a laser weapon strike?
Regardless, until this is addressed it basically means energy weapons are king right now.

Ammo only has a 10% chance to expode anyway, so unless you have 8 tons in your torso i dont think i'd bother with case anyway if it could be used for something else, like another ton of ammo. another way of thinking about it, 1 in 10 matches that i lose my leg armor *and* the ammo takes a crit before i get fully legged, i *might* die from damge transfer to side torso.
Theres an aweful lot of *IF's* tied into suffering a death as a result of ammo explosions that wouldn't have occured otherwise. Odds are, if the ammo didnt explode you were 3 seconds away from dying anyway.
What case should really do if its going to be useful (unless ammo gets 100% chance to explode at least) is cause that damage to vent outwards and not damage you in the first place, or at worst just take out other ammo stored inside the CASE and leave structure untouched. I'd buy case for that.
