The game does seem to have Nvidia features under development first and foremost. I could be totally wrong in saying this but I hope my explanation helps shed some light on the possible cause for this.

I (selfishly) wish that were the case as it'd mean I wouldn't have to deal with these crashes myself, on a high-end system with an Nvidia card.

I'm not saying that people with Nvidia cards are immune to issues; I'm just reasoning that they are likely have fewer. I’ve also come across some weird rendering issues, like one time my thermal and night vision modes simply made my screen go black. Fortunately that has only happened once.

Hello Everybody!

Since the last patch I cannot play the game. It loads ok, I go to the Mechbay, Select a Mech and enter the game.

Sometimes right away the game crashes to the Desktop. No errors are shown. It just goes to the Desktop. Sometimes I can play for a few seconds and then here I go again, to the desktop. No error screens. I have installed the latest Video Drivers and Even put all graphic game settings to low. It didn't help.

Is anybody experiencing this?

Here follows some information about my System:

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532)
Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 940 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 4096MB RAM
Page File: 2685MB used, 5502MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

Display Memory: 2797 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1005 MB
Shared Memory: 1791 MB

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

Memory allocation error almost instantly every game now. Guess I'll check back in a month or so. What a shame, I kinda liked this game… ;)

I have fixed this issue i am Running 32 bit windows on this machine temporarily http://www.passmark....?id=22050034378 I just set Textures to Low. and i am able to run game on everything High except textures. Hope this helps. I got the solution from http://steamcommunit...34724064202872/ From the OP. I encountered the same issue exactly when trying to run Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Siberian Strike DLC Pack which led me to this solution.

EDIT:I take that back it crashed on me with the same error on my 4th match when things were getting heavy on River City Day. Likely another setting needs to be Low for this to be fixed. I can run the game all day with all settings low except opject detail at Very High, AA at very high and Post AA on. Wierd
