Hello everyone, and welcome to another (in Vancouver, Rainy and cold) Thursday! Todays screenshot follows:

Posted Image

As you can see, a Jenner ran afoul of a Hunchback to less than optimal results. He made a good showing though, given the damage the Hunchback has taken.

Hope you guys enjoyed this, and we'll see you again next week!

Cheers.

That Hunchback is in a lot of danger. Almost no armour, internal damage, and 0 rounds remaining for his AC/20.

The Jenner may be going down, but a butterfly could take out the hunchback now

Poor little Jenner. He never even got a chance to grow up. ;)

Nice screenshot!

Judging by the scoreboard at the top, the Hunchback's team is winning in Kills, but the Jenner's team is about to Base-cap.

Good to see a satisfying death for once. Getting worried with these (logical) "you get killed you fall down" arguments....

Is it me or the Hunchie got his AC destroyed? If so, he's not gonna be of much use to his team...

Nice screenie! Looks like the SRM-4 ammo went up - I like the destruction effects.

Now, what's going on on those MFDs in the top of the cockpit? Thus far I've seen an enemy damage/info screen on the top right HUD display, but I can't make out what's on in these displays. Seems to be displaying quantities of something, but I can't make it out...

looks like operation heatsinks by hit location, I can see images of what i believe are heat sinks next to readouts such as "left arm 0/0"

I love it!!!!!

The displays in the lower portion of the Hunchback's cockpit are showing "AUTO DETECT: (NO SIGNAL) ". That guy has taken some serious punishment, and the monitors went out. LOVE IT.

Nothing was funner than coming out of a big scrum barely operational but still kicking.

EDIT: Did the Jenner's head blow off?!?!?

Just think of Vancouver as a permanent cold map. At least you can use all your PPCs!

A couple interesting tidbits on the 4G variant Hunchbacks from Sarna:
  • HBK-4G Hunchback Shakir - The personal 'Mech of Sorenson’s Sabres member and future ISF director Shakir Jerrar was refitted to an advanced variation of the 4H in the lead-up to the War of 3039, carrying two prototype Medium Pulse Laser in place of the four standard Medium Lasers.[16]
  • HBK-4G Hunchback Hohiro - Assigned Jerrar's 'Mech after his retirement from the Sabres, when piloted by Hohiro Utsonomiya during the Jihad it was refitted with post-Clan Invasion technology. The addition of an Endo steel chassis and Ferro-Fibrous armor frees up weight to swap the standard AC/10 for an Ultra Autocannon/10, retaining the two ton ammo bay, carrying standard production grade Medium Pulse Lasers in the arms and a ER Small Laser in the head, adding a C3 Slave in the center torso. That Hunchback is standing still! No wonder it's taken a beating.
