[Caleb Brightmore]

This incident just took place in the Turmoline Desert.

While on the cap in Assault mode I was offered an option by a Liao pilot named Koniving.

The offer was a duel with the rules being he would only use MG's and Flamers.

I accepted and came off of the cap.

I in my SDR-5D "ECHO" 2Xml 1xLL and he in his 4xMG 2xFlamer AC/10 Jagermech.

Although he lost the duel he fought valiantly but under those circumstances he really didn't have much of a chance due to his restrictions for a duel.

While initial reports may have tried to claim he in fact fired his AC/10 those reports are completely false neither my sensors nor my armor detected any AC/10 fire in or around us.

He is a brave and honorable pilot worthy of praise.

I verify this after action report to be true and accurate.

He's definitely one of the better guys on the forums, goon or not. But he seems to be one of the rare guys that does this *gasp* FOR FUN!

On a side note, do you know if he was looking for screenshots? I know he helps get a lot of good screens/videos.

There. If I had 4 MGs it would've gone quite a bit differently.

Oh and to someone else who mentioned it, a goon wouldn't have kept that deal.

As some others said, I'm with the Zhizhu Mercenary Corporation. Not the Word of Blake / Goons or whatever they are. (Actually quite dislike the goons.)

It's pretty neat when people know enough about me to make corrections. Makes me feel well known.

Sadly my one side torso was already pretty raw thanks to the AC/20 Jager and other mechs my team was fighting. I was the only mech fast enough to get to our base anywhere within time to stop the capture, and the challenge was issued to buy time.

It does. But when we win it's that much sweeter. From the screenshots with me in them, I'd think we do pretty well even when Lordred isn't fighting. In fact he just got a bunch of screens of Garth getting over 700 damage in a Cicada.
