Been meaning to post this for a few days now. PGI the Steam on the hot mechs in Forest Colony Snow (Don't notice it on Alpine or Frozen City) is so cool. Whether its through my own cockpit or coming of mechs its just sweet. In fact I had a teamate griping a bit about it so its just that much sweeter.

Could be your monitor. It was a white mist for me. And I could also see it coming off hot mechs.

Is there an effect when people use the coolant flush consumables ?

This might be what you are seeing ?

If not, then we need to see it on more maps for hot mechs imo. Or some heat haze around the top of hot mechs etc.

No. I didn't even notice it until someone pointed it out to me and I decided to run hot. Again I've only noticed it in forest colony snow. My settings are on high/very high so that may make the difference if your not seeing it.

i gotta admit, since i can play the game with more detail, i find alot of things that i missed out before^^... like the plants and moss covering the cave entrance and many other things... i remember someone in some thread said "no better grafics than WoT" a while back...

LOL!

as for the steam... didn´t notice yet, but i will look for it next time... the first thing that made me wow though, was the dust thrown off by jumpjets on sandy grounds like caustic and canyon... great, give us more fluff... if we have to play an arcade game, make it at least immersive...

Pretty sure you also get steam from using flamers on water and snow.

HAHA YOU"LL NEVER SEE ME NOW! Don't mind the giant flames though, that's that other guy that's not me.
