Am I the only one worried about this? Things are already bad enough, one month LRMs are useless the next its like LRMgeddeon all over again then it flip-flops yet again. PGI obviously doesn't have the resources or the werewithal to test everything thouroughly. The game already favors heavier builds with more firepower. What is going to happen when we see things like Ultra AC20s and SSRM6s? Will lights and mediums even have a use anymore? The official response is pretty much we've got it covered, don't worry, but that inspires 0 confidence in me given the track record. I really want to love this game, but it keeps slapping me in the face with shoddy development and poorly planned implementation. I want to be excited for CW and the new UI, but I have some serious reservations.

Oddly will written and well resourced for a newb post. (que tin hats) smells like an alt account or *gasp* negative PR trolls.

It's going to be ok.

Clan mechs will be vastly outnumbered by IS mechs. Clan vs IS matches will be brutal, and many IS mechs will be destroyed, but these matches will be fair and balanced.

It's going to be fun. :D

(P.S. I look forward to taking on the clan invaders. This free birth scumbag likes a good fight.)

For some odd reason I have a degree of faith in PGI to implement the Clans proper. Why you might ask? Well put simply about half (for arguement sake) of their community reputation rests on the solid introduction of the Clans. If they botch it up badly enough, then it will be a rather solid nail in the coffin of MWO.

no clan mechs won't be out numbered. PGI have already stated they will use ever sever to max pop, meaning 12v12. unless they PGI have some sort of BV system in place clans are going to stream roll everyone on release.

Could always be 8v16. And they've mentioned in previous ask the devs that they may increase from 24 player servers in the future if possible.

That being said, I don't think balance by team numbers is particularly likely either.

It just feels to me that PGI has the drive, but lacks the understanding for making any game.

Going at this "Piecemeal" is causing more problems then it is solving with a few new exploitations coming out every patch.

I'm tempted to just sit on the game for a while until clans come out, if PGI screws it up. Then I'm out, and so are about half the fanbase then-and-there..
