I just recently unlocked and equiped the advanced zoom module. I love the extra zoom but as has been previously stated the quality is crazy low. I don't mind a bit more blur, but i could barely tell an atlas from the blurry mass standing next to it (it was a building btw).
My main problem is that when I use the module my target tracking system goes crazy. It boxes in both where the mech is if i were unzoomed. This makes target retention extremely difficult at long ranges, where i'm looking at a mech and my targeting is telling me it's behind a building. Or the mech runs behind a hill and the targeting is saying it is actually still on top of the hill. Personaly i find it a bit disorienting and I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this.

It's not that the module is intentionally bad, it's just really buggy. They've said before that they would like to fix it, but that it's not a priority right now.

It was the first module I bought and it was a disappointment to be honest, it's easier to hit at 3x than using the mod.
But I agree it's not a priority compared to CW and the release of the clans.

That module is messed up, game programming is hard.
