I have no problem with the map itself, in principle, but the fact that it and tourmaline racked up over 10 hours of playtime while no other map managed to break 3 has left me hating them with a passion. If my early stats on Canyon are any indication, Alpine and Tourmaline will be supplanted by Canyon as my least favorite map of all time.

I'm still relatively new to canyon, but have found it to be the most brutal scenario so far. I normally deploy with my Atlas Sniper; but Canyon can often be a killing zone. I have found myself triangulated by LRM's on more than one occasion. Another thing that I have noticed with Canyon is that the light units often hunt in packs. A few nights ago one of our Catapults was being circled by four Ravens; I did my best and took one out before they took the Catapult out.
Time will tell with Canyon, but it is coming up a lot at the moment.

I rarely see Alpine any more. I wish it was present MUCH more in the rotation.

I'm utterly sick of the darn map now, its all that seems to load.... why do they do this, do they really think we like playing the same map, time after time

People bitc*ed about not getting the new map enough, so starting with Tourmaline, they gave us waht we wanted...
Needless to say, for all things they screwed up, this is "our" fault.

well don;t forget- with the other two both alipine and tourmaline had their %s boosted at the same time so instead of getting one of them say 6 out of 10 times you got them each 3 times. canyon's now the only one with the boost so that 6 out of 10 may actually come through now.

Either statistically I'm an outlier anomaly or there is something fishy going on...
Let's hope they are re-tooling Alpine to balance it a bit more!

It does come up a lot, but I think I can tolerate this map a lot better than Alpine, which has even eclipsed River City Night my most hated map.

To gather necessary metrics in a timely manner. Knowing this does not make me want to see the map again though.
