I'd like to see something similar to the Family Guy Online beta where your online playable character is also your photo in the forums. Your allegience is obvious with most people from their sig, lets see the Mechs!!!

IIRC, the devs have explained that your faction icon will be replaced by your pilot's face in MWO when you go to make up your pilot. So, you'll have to wait about another month-and-a-half until Closed Beta, or further until the game launches.

They'd have to monitor what makes it's way into the game.

You can't have logos under copy right making their way on the servers.

I would be plenty happy with the insignia from the Perephery Powers, even if I have to play a Lone Wolf to use them. Just painting my mechs green and gold will get a thousand wrong guesses of "Jade Falcon fanboy" for every correct identification of "Magistracy of Canopus fanboy".

He was absent from the Queen's anniversary celebrations, due to being hospitalized. Someone on the forum made a crack that he wasn't sick, but actually playing the Mechwarrior: Online beta. It's snowballed from there.

I would love to use my own unit's insignia as my avatar. I designed it myself after all! I would rather use it my mech more however.
