The jerking crosshair is THE THING that made it bad? Would you prefer the crosshair stays still and your weapons randomly misfire? Is that somehow better? They did it to stop poptarting, so it isn't going anywhere.

If the game is making you physically sick I suggest you stop playing immediately and consult a doctor.

When the screen moves from direct commands from me, I don't get sick. I get terribly sick if I watch someone else play because I am not controlling the camera. It's a mental thing.

He's right. I've been through several Cat 3 hurricanes at sea and this does tweak the 'ol pukometer. I know when I'm getting seasick, everybody gets seasick (other people lie and say they don't), and this could make me motion sick.
My apologies, the whole cockpit violently shaking is kinda nuts. It's too freaking fast.

It's like this stuff is that hard to sus, but apparently two plus two equals potato in balance land.

I am one of those people who don't post at all, I don't poptart, and here I am saying that the shaking reticule gets me completely nauseated. I understand that this is a fix for the people who do poptart, but the people who poptart are in 90 ton mechs, not 35 ton mechs. I think that the amount of reticule shake should be directly related to the weight of the mech, not for the fact that you have jump jets.
I have to agree with Morgana, Skunk, and the thread starter... playing lights with jump jets is next to unplayable.

Targeting Modul "Aim Stabilizer" 10000 GXP
Stabilize aim slightly a little bit.
"Adv. Aim Stabilizer" 12500 GXP
Greater aim stabilzer...

If true, I agree...this effect needs to be toned down on lights.
Just tried a match in a Jenner...not as bad as I anticipated but I could see how it could both some people.

1. The TYPE of jumpjet.(larger mechs need larger JJ's)
2. The tonnage of the chasis.
3. The number of jump jets that your mech has
The reticule shake should scale to these three factors if they really want to fix this.....
PLUS, I just did a test, the reticule and the weapons aren't even tied together as it is. So your reticule could be half way to the bottom of the screen when you're shaking, but its still going to fire in the same spot as if it wasn't shaking.
So *smh*, all you need is a piece of tape in the center of your screen and back to jump sniping you go.

Would be another reason to make sure the FOV slider gets put in game sooner rather than needing to manually edit the prefs.

Possible Workarounds:
A ) Turn on lights.
B ) Sit further from your monitor.
C ) Take a 10 minute break whenever you start to feel ill.
D ) Ginger capsules or other anti-nauseants can be effective. Consult your field medic.
E ) Don't press Space.
F ) Un-equip Jump Jets
Is this a bad joke! We need instructions on how not throwing up while playing this game!
I'm getting motion sickness about half an hour after starting to play.

I don't get seasick and I dont lie about my lieing. JJ are for mobility, if your getting sick your over using them.
