Has anyone else had the urge to vomit while using the new JJs? I've never had a problem with motion sickness and video games until today.

I suffer from a bad case of motion sickness. Used JJs..., No ***** given. Don't get what the fuss is about.

I don't think it is a good idea for Squirtbox to get motion sickness. Could be dire consequences.

Appealing to PGI to roll back the JJ change because suddenly you find yourself with motion sickness is kinda cheesy... :) Just be honest and admit you want your supreme pop-tarting back...because...that took REAL skill.

I had no problem using my JJ mechs. I don't jump every 3 seconds to poptart.

I logged on and played a few rounds today in my founder's cat expecting (based on the forum responses) to be hurling within about ten minutes. I was completely underwhelmed. How do some of you even play videogames when the run animations of some games are more jarring than the jumpjet shake now? Just use jumpjets to move around and not snipe people 800 yards away and you won't even notice the spastic reticule. Seriously, just put down the poptarts and no one will get hurt (or puke).

there are 3 parts to the change and the screen shake is a purely visual effect that could be removed and still maintain all of the game play mechanics as they are. in other words we can get rid of the screen shake WITHOUT making the game easier for poptarts.

Not even a little.
And that's in a 150 kph Jenner, tapping/using jumpjets for almost the entire match.
Although using max zoom and/or zoom module may be much worse.
Gee, that's too bad.

Yeah its bad for me. I jet around constantly when I play spider so its shaking more often than not. Its one of those things that really detracts from the game experience for me, like how in a lot of modern games they seem to think making your screen go blurry is a good idea (I'm looking at you, Skyrim - thankfully there's a mod to remove it).

Its a bit insensitive for people to have the 'too bad, so sad' attitude towards things like this. You wouldn't make fun of a man in a wheelchair when there's no access ramp, would you? Or laugh at those kids who had a Porygon-induced seizure in Japan. Just because its not causing a problem for you doesn't mean it isn't a real issue for someone else.

And as a disclaimer, I do not play assault mechs or the cataphract. Just going to play Cicada for the time being I guess.
