This patch had brought me back to MWO. Sure, most of the FoTM chasers will now abandon Highlanders and 3Ds and jump on to Stalkers but Stalkers are way easier to handle in brawls due to crap turn rate and no horizontal arm movement.

SRMs are going to the right direction and LRMs are now not a joke anymore.

I'll buy 50$ worth of MC later this week to show my appreciation--holding off for now cause you guys might do some stupid hotfix and mess stuff up, again.

edit: Bought 50$ MC, as promised.

I agree.

LRMs are viable again.

I'm with you on this one El Bandito. I have a highlander as well so I'm not talking out of my ***; I think this is a great balancing patch all around.

Feels good to fire LRM10 on my CN9-AL and not get "dafuq?! is he serious?!" from my teammates and enemy team anymore.

Good patch overall except for the ping issue and ballistic detection.

Nooooooos!! I found the thought that people get nauseated by using JJ very entertaining

Well, that is certainly disappointing. You guys finally do something right, then will undo it.. Figures.

Loving the patch also, the last one also eliminates all of my crashing bugs like LRM hits. *thumbs up*

ok tweak it as you see fit so poptarts cant use the sickness excuse any more..just stay on this path...pls do not allow poptarts to return to their former state..

Interesting news. Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding any announcement from Paul about it.

Command Chair - nope
Announcements - nope
Patch Feedback - nope ... unless buried in some other thread

Honestly, communications is a key to engaging your community and important information like what the developers plan to do regarding features that have a fraction of the community literally feeling ill are worth communicating in a manner that is accessible to all members of the community. Maybe the fix was mentioned in a tweet or on the MWO facebook page ... not everyone actually follows these ... so please, if you have important stuff you want to share with folks who play the game ...

1) Put it on twitter
2) Put it on facebook
3) ... but most of all ... put it on your own forums ... in a standardized channel like Announcements or Command Chair.

Personally, I think hotfix info, once it's been rolled out, should be added to the official Patch Notes. It's always hard to find hotfix information buried in the forums. We like our patch notes!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, that comment wasn't there when I first read through the thread-nought on JJ shake feedback ... it was edited in at a later time ... so it wasn't as obvious as it appears at the moment. :P

I am man of my word, PGI. Bought the MC as promised after seeing this patch is still better than what we had in the last 3 months. Hope you don't mess this up!

Sorry, but the reticule shake got rid of almost any reason for JJ, and I bet its the cause of the horrible ping
