I was sooooo close with this one. I was bearing down on the final hunchback when the team capped out the game! I didn't realise I was on for the 8 until I saw the final screenie otherwise I would have begged them to let me get the last one!

So how about you guys? Anyone ever managed to pull off the clean sweep?

i really, actually just got 8 kills in a my jenner (not bullshitting, i only came here to post the ss in it's own thread) but the @#$%#@ing screen shot didn't take.

It's not awesome to get 8 kills unless you have the least amount of damage.

7 kills with the TDK is a close as I've gotten in a while....

The last one I picked up was during the last tourney, in an assault mech many players consider second rate or just terrible... An 8 kill game really depends on luck; who is in the match, tactics, skill level, etc. To me consistently doing well is a much greater achievement than one blowout game.

The 2 best screenies so far have been from an 8Q and a Death's Knell. It just goes to show that there are no BAD mechs. Only bad pilots.

Agreed. It's like getting a 147 in snooker or a 9 dart finish in 501 darts. It's extremely rare and a lot of the time it isn't the best players in the world that get them.

I've manage to get 7 kills few games, 6 are kinda a bit more common - this is one of the best games I've had, tho we've lost it...



I think 8 kills is a bit of an overkill tho

If you play against decent players this would and must never occur.

Careful, calling the last kill and then your PUGs actually letting you get the kill even once can get you ejected from PGI competitions.

Maybe not much of an achievement, but I still got a rush of exhilaration upon winning this — that, and the fact I was the sole assault on my team vs. 2 Highlanders and a Stalker.

[note: 470 T on my team vs. 575 T on the enemy team]
