Honestly i did not think the players in this game had any honour.

Until i was the last one left just now, in my 3L. 300 vs 500. 5 v 1. Hopeless.

So my ~90% 3L was positioned facing a solid wall near one of the capture points, and powered down.

Shockingly enough... a fully laden and operational Stalker... walked right by me without even pausing to look at me. (can see to the sided of my mech's cockpit with mouse look)

Either that Stalker pilot was totally blind... or he was honourable and without a spoken word from me or him... kept on walking.

I was shocked, as was my team. We were positively beaten. 95% of the time when i surrender, and power down facing a wall in submission, i am completely blown to bits. This ... being spared ... is so incredibly rare. (which makes me believe he actually didnt notice me)

The difference is that you were on conquest. Had it been assault, I think they would have killed you.

I don't always fight to the last man. Sometimes, I do but it's more unusual than not. In conquest if I'm the last man standing I try to cap, other times though, if I know it's completely hopeless, I run away and make the enemy win by capping the base or try to find me when I can sometimes pick them off one by one. I know how frustrating it is when the last guy doesn't want to brawl, so I don't want to give the enemy the satisfaction of killing me.

I'm fairly certain he must have missed you. Logical thing to do would be to blow you away to get XP and CB while also finishing the match immediately instead of waiting to get 750 resources.
