Since 12v12, graphics have become terrible. The gauss is a tiny spec and PPC Fx is bad. LRM are terrible. Big step backwards as they "optimize" for the $300 laptop spec.

Attention....graphics?

Before talking of graphics, I would love to have a game optimized.
I bought a founder pack a long time ago but never I really played to the game because the performances was very bad.
Ok, it was a beta, no problem to wait.
Now, I hear that the game will be released the next month, so I launch it to try, and even with this tweaks my framerate drop under 60 fps.
My config
I5 2500k
GTX660TI
8go RAM
I generally want to have a good framerate (120 fps, on my 120hz display monitor) and I play with low seetings on a lot of games.
Here, even with really bad graphics I can't have a good framerate.
The game will be released next month, I doubt it will be optimized before this date (the framerate is so bad, this probably need a lot of work). So I bought a founder pack for a game which will be not playable for me.

You're never going to get a constant 120FPS with this PC,forget it.But you should definitely get good framerates with the graphics on low. That it drops below 60FPS is probably an optimization thing.

PGI will never admit that they've nerfed the graphics - but as OP pointed out in the first thread - the graphics have taken a incremental downwards trend to maintain frame rates and fixing bugs.
This is one game where it was advertised as "Nvidia" but never once did I see Nvidia driver updates bring with them tweaks or performance improvements to MWO.
Disappointing indeed.

As you may have noticed: Performance has been a major focus over the past few patches and tests.
The upcoming introduction of DX11 will help significantly in addressing graphical concerns down the line.

When your game doesn't run well on a top-spec PC with TITAN and i7 3770/3960X you KNOW you are running into some serious problems.
Having watched the old gameplay videos, forest colony looked so much better back then - now it's just all dark greenish undistinguishable mess and the white fog effect thingy is really terrible.

That's.....that's good news.
Good news, sure- but it's one thing to hear that PGI is looking into something, and another to see them do anything about it, let alone doing anything about it soon. I'd love to see something done, but we will see how it turns out.
