Hello, i got some serious graphic problems on some maps. Most of the time this errors occur on maps with snow or "night" maps. Here you can see how the error looks like. Sometimes the colors change, but in general it looks like this...



Maybe someone knows any workaround? (Alt+Tab works, but only lasts for a few seconds)

Intel i5-3570K
8 GB Ram
Radeon HD 6970
Windows 7
(Drivers are up to date)

Already tried:
- delete cache
- use MWO repair-tool
- reinstall MWO

I had a similar problem during CB. Have you deleted your shader cashe files to try and fix it? and have you run the MWO repair tool?

I already deleted the cache-folder. But ill try the repair tool now.

Edit: The repair-tool didnt work. The same error still occurs

1. In the Catalyst program, set to application control.
2. Click on Performance/Overdrive, enable Overdrive and manually set fan speed at a higher rate, ie 75% or so. Or use MSI Afterburner to control the fan speeds.

When you are playing, do you hear the fan speeds increase? If not then #2 should help you. You can also set Afterburner to increase speeds based on temp of card.

I checked the temp of my graphic-card. In some cases it rises up to 90°! usually its not higher than 70°. Is there a problem with MWO? Do others experience higher temps than normal too?

Ill keep an eye on the temps and try to increase the fan speed.

I would say that is something to be worried about. Since the sensor is on the GPU where the fan is located then the ram itself is likely running even hotter.

1. Can of compressed air, ensure dust bunnies are non-existent in system.
2. Plenty of circulation around the system. At least 2 other people had their systems in an almost enclosed space that was simply recirculating the heated system air that was being pumped out.
3. Just make sure that all fans are actually running and dialing up the RPMs when needed. A few players have had to manually control their fan speeds as the default programs were not doing it.

Ive cleaned my system and opened the case. the temp is not at 83°C. Did not have the error since. I think the problem was the heat... i removed a fan recently. But i didnt think it would have such a big impact. Ill keep testing now.

If you're having heat problems i feel bad for you son, i got 99 problems but overheating aint one!

Mainly because i bought a Azza Hurrican 2000R. Sexy computer case with 8 fans. Is nice.
