You can pay money to buy the standard equipment faster, or you can just play the game longer to get the same results. There is no "progression tree" of Mechs, so you can start the game with a Massive 100ton Atlas Mech if you want to, for free, and not worry about the idea of progression. The pay-model of MW:O is a tool that allows people to get weapons and Mechs FASTER then people who don't play, but you can't buy any equipment, weapons, or Mechs that are overpowered.

I'm sure you know everything. Thus your a perfect canadiate. Whats that? You've never been paid, put under heavy NDA, and required to find X number of problems a week else you no longer have a job? tsk tsk. You don't know what living is my friend.
Its not about how good you are. It luck of the draw. Their internal testers alone probably find more problems then most outsourced. The game will launch soon anyways.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST. Please use the Search function up top. You'll learn alot more then asking FAQ style questions. Or did they not teach that in school? You know. Reading the FAQ,
Enjoy your stay. Have a good day. Drive safe, people are stupid. And keep your head on a swivel.
Frustrated-non-beta-tester detected, hehehe ....

Just for reference, premium on WoT is 1.5x everything. Or 50% bonus for XP and credits.
And a nice, clean garage, of course.

Ohhh interesting, I didn't know this. This is good then because if say for example, I'm in an assault mech and I come against a med mech, I might still get my *** handed to me because that med might have better-tier weapons...does that sound right?

Nope, no tiered weapons either. The MLAS on your 35 ton Jenner is gonna be the same as the one one the 100 ton Atlas. If you can work yourself into a position where you can hit him it's going to do the same amount of damage as the one on the 85 ton Stalker that's also shooting him. Your weapons on the light mechs won't bounce off or fail to penetrate as in other games. Still going to require practice and skill to get into that position tho.

Any normal player with a little bit tolerance would have answered (from what a read now):
1. No, it wont be Pay2Win, though you might accelerate your progress with money to a certain degree.
2. No idea, it seems to be random
3. House "???"

you fail at math.
I dont think so - you make gold to credits and buying powerfull upgrades and bonis with it. Of course, you still need to earn Exp, but you also can just transfer Exp from other vehicles. Guess what you need to do so.

Nope, only about 30+, including half of the MMOs in the past 2 years. Last test was Blacklight and currently starting with Starforge.

Thx, though i read it already. Its just that she protected Ian in her last fight, yet you could decide which side you were on. On photos she wears the symbol of Davion, yet i always fought for Steiner... Would be nice to get a clear answer, if its not too much effort.
Well, anyways, thx for the answers (those who actually included some info), im looking towards a great game.

1,5x Exp, Inifinite Credits, Crew at 75%, Exp transfer, ALL the equipment, Goldrounds, additional Tank slots, additional Tanks, buffs (aka nutrition packs etc.) - i dont know, but it seems pretty much like Pay2Win.

I can understand how you would come to this conclusion after reading the responses to your original post. The posts are accurate in that you will be able to pay for weapons, Mechs, etc. The piece that is missing here is pilot skill. The Devs have made it clear that the pilot skill levels are ONLY obtained through game play and that they will lose skill over time if the player does not play the game. What does this mean in terms of pay-to-win...well what it means is play-to-win. The people with the most toys will not be able to win simply by having the most toys. They will also have to level their pilot skill levels to fit their role and play style to be "all that." People will have to pay their dues to be the best in the game and skill is earned, not bought. This design will also prevent the take over of the game by impatient people that think they can just jump into a F2P account and rule the world. That just isn't going to happen. People will be rewarded for being loyal to the game and it will also provide new players something to work towards. In MWO to be the best you'll have to earn it...it can't be bought.

Generally speaking, what you are saying is how it already works. The aspect that can't be bought are pilot skills. Please see my previous post located directly above your post.

Have you heard of non-verbal communication? Many types of communication do not translate well in forum posts.
Beyond that you are posting stats from a theoretical position that you do not have any in-game data to support.
