The LRM20 will not stick to the correct hardpoint on the HGN-322's left torso. When both a LRM20 and a StreakSRM2 are installed on the left torso, It doesn't matter in what order you put them, the LRM20 always switches to the hip. You won't notice it at first. But if you save the loadout, then back out to the mechlab, then go back to the loadout of the 322 and cancel out again, you'll notice that the LRM20 has moved to the hip and the StreakSRM2 is taking up the good spot.

The consequence of this, is that the LRM20 fires in two salvos of 10 instead of one solid 20, increasing enemy AMS effectiveness and slowing down my reload time.

The same thing happens if you replace the StreakSRM2 with anything else. Same problem also with a LRM15 instead of a LRM20.

Please fix this. It is very irritating.

I've just noticed that a moderator did reply to a previous post that I made on this issue, but since he has closed the tread, I could never reply. Here is what he wrote:

After reviewing the testing again with our QA department, we have determined that the issue is not a gameplay breaking issue. A properly equipped 20 will score 1 in 16 volleys more than the bugged mech- (at a greater heat cost) when two mechs are facing eachother, standing still, and firing in a synchronized fashion. The issue is the the database and is being looked at, thank you for your vigilance!

Thanks for understanding that this is not a cosmetic issue, but a gameplay issue. HOWEVER, I would still argue that this must be fixed in order for the HGN-733 to perform the way it is meant to.

I will elaborate by pointing out that your rate of fire test is insufficient to reveal the scale of the problem. If the mechs are equipped with AMS, missile effectiveness is even more reduced when fired in successive salvos. ALSO (and this is the most important point by far): the Highlander has Jump-Jets!!! Therefore, those missiles are often meant to be fired while in mid air, while poping from cover. If they take too long to launch, the second salvo will hit the wall, reducing my total effectiveness by 50%!!! That's much worst that 1 in 16 volleys, I would say. Furthermore, when the target mech runs for cover, the half second between salvos is sometimes the difference between 20 missiles hitting, or only 10.

What he meant was that the bug is noted and already added to the list, but not at a high priority at the moment as it is not "gameplay breaking".

They'll probably fix it in a few month's time
