Id much rather disable 2-3 assaults primary weapons and turn the battle just to die later, than try every match to killshot each and every last enemy mech for a scoreboard or leaderboard pi**ing match. sometimes the war is more important than the battle, but that's just my house nature showing through.

You take things too seriously. Has anyone ever told you that?

What was so difficult, you guys and your forum trolling, Let me break it down for you.........Licencing should be introduced, to keep people who have no mind about warfare or combat simulation, or self preservation, or any of the dozen or so other reasons I could name. situational awareness, or common sense, or heres a good one, teamwork.......squad based coop. Maybe it could be implemented similarily to difficulty on FPS games( seeing as this is where this MWO is headed) Arcade-mode any halfwit can drop any mech loadout, normal-mode restrictions on weapon loadouts engine sizes mix of new and old etc, and simulator mode......which would have some RP elements of seriousness to it. allowing only feasible tech. for the year of gameplay.and matchmaking is refined massively these could be given as choices to each player. at least try to corral the population where it makes sense for them. underground, amatuer, and pro.

So, I have to ask. As a former Marine Infantryman what is your military background that you would insult Civilians, who are playing a game sir?

You came into this thread with an attitude so smug,...

Pot, kettle; kettle, pot.

Anyway, if you don't want to be in drops with new players you should probably play until your ELO registers you as being better than new players. So far, you have succeeded only in sounding like you are angry at PGI because your skill level is no greater than that of a new player.

It wasn't a leaderboard ******* match, it was just throwing out a comparative so you can understand why YOU get matched with the sub-layer of elo scores (matchmaker is too busy putting better players with eachother).

(Hint1, if someone's KDR is higher but W/L lower, they're leaderboard-centric kill-counters.)
(Hint2, if someone's KDR is lower but W/L higher, they're a better team-player than you.)
(Hint3, if someone's KDR and W/L are both higher, they're likely just better than you.)

So, posting those stats so we can help you understand why you're getting matched with less-skilled folk?

And what, now I have to be military trained to be able to see the battlefield tactically, nah, my intelligence grants me that ability, I didn't need some super organized structured facility which is the army to show me how to be smart in battle. or to use surroundings as cover or as an advantage. Its a shame that the entire world cant be full of people smarter than a 5th grader.

He's in Elo Hell..

He's just the first in a long line to come. (I've heard rumors about this kind of phenomenon over in the LoL forums.)

You again, mr 3K posts, relating again to off topic stupididty, LOL, who even plays or follows arcady poop schwag like that, oh that's right, you do mr. fits right in to the status quo. and defends and deflects anything with attitude that he cant grasp @. I mentioned the love of simulators and not acting like a goof pre mid and post drop. At least try to stay on topic or on point. Mayb just mayb the influx of less capable pilots flooded the elo system that clearly has major impact on other peoples ELO scores... mayb theres more random crap in with the good..........but I guess im getting worse @ piloting after another 5000 drops..........Or so your terrible mindtrack would direct things.

Yes. Yes you do. SO here you are spouting off as if you have all this combat EXP and you are an Armchair warrior! As one of my martial art instructors used to say. If you trained yourself you had an ***** for an instructor and a fool for a student. Your intellegence will not save you when the crap starts to fly in a combat situation.

I have been anti-poptart from day one, but go ahead and assume. I expect that from random posters by now, and mayb now that all the moron pop tarters who now have to learn a new skillset and actually develop playstyle are doing this. I don't feel like making up for their inadequacies from wasting the last 3 months with jumpjets ppcs and gauss rifles. that's the general populations lack of foresight.

This makes me howl, You come in here all high and mighty mr Army man, saying flat out that anyone not in the army cant figure this stuff out, shows me really how trapped inside the box you are, you should take your propaganda elsewhere. Where the rest of the sheeple belong.

Marine not army. Sure you can try to fight without the proper training, but I wouldn't follow you to the chow hall.

I.. I.. I don't know how quite to respond to this.

First: Never played LoL (had to look it up when people were using it in comparison for P2W.) Reread the sentence.

I see your attitude.. you're complaining that after thousands of drops, you're still in the crappiest bracket- Elo Hell.
(Seeing as how I'm not in such a sad situation: "Let them eat cake.")

I like how the title of this thread sounds like some garbage law that would be passed in New York City or San Francisco.

When you actually matter then maybe you can start to tell people how to play this game.
