So I know my video card is about to die on me... been having issues. So figured I'd throw out my system specs and get recommendations on what the best bang for my buck is.

Asus Tower build with---
Nvid. GeForce 9800 GT
Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz (4)
8g Ram on win7 home premium

I play a lot of FPS shooters as well as run 2 monitors when I play a few other MMO's.

Thanks in advance!

Update--- stuck in an old GEForce 8800 GTS (btw, I only use cards with 1G or better, both this and the 9800 have 1G) and the game runs fine on high settings.... still looking for recommendations, however.

In that price range you want a GTX660 or an HD7870 if you can find one on sale.

$200 range, plus or minus, I'd get a 7870 XT. You'll know you found the right model when you see it has slower clock speeds than most other 7870 cards( the XT runs at 925mhz as compared to a regular 7870 running around the 1000mhz). Even though the 7870 XT runs at slower speeds than a regular 7870, it's still considerably faster as it has the same GPU core as a 7950 or 7970. I believe this is one(more research is needed to make sure it has 1536 stream processors) http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814131487 and I know this is one http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814202024

The 7870XT is great, and right now AMD is giving out ~$160 in new games with all 7870s, which makes them an amazing value. That's like paying $90 for a $250 card.
