I presume that each group here in this subforum is gearing up differently for the eventual CW update, and I would like to know HOW YOU are preparing to launch an invasion on sphereoid surats.

Of course, strictly speaking timeline-wise, we are already railing the crap out of the Lyrans and we took Botany Bay and other periphery worlds back in August/September...

Yeah, yeah, I know MWO is apocryphal but a clanner has to clan, ya' know?

We are preparing our inner sphere c-bill currency, we'll need it when forced to create a merc corp in CW ..

Now that the time is almost upon us, I am:

- Gaining as much xp as I can, and waiting for GXP conversion to go on sale. It costs 171,750 XP to unlock all three variants of a mech to master (currently). I plan to have a clan mech fully unlocked as soon as we get to the Inner Sphere. On sale, that's only 3091 MC.

- Gaining as much cbills as I can. From what has already been announced, we will not need to buy XL engines, but we will need to buy new clan weapons to destroy the Inner Sphere surats with.

- Watching for a sale on green and yellow colors, to be ready to properly paint my mechs before destroying the falcon's enemies.

If you want to buy a Clan 'Mech with C-Bills and you claim to be a Jade Falcon warrior.. You are doing it wrong

The game has it's currency. Obviously the first mechs are going to be $$$, but after that I suspect cbills will matter.

Have they announced otherwise?

Hmm, i thought they had. Maybe my memory just tricked me. However i would be quite disappointed if Clanners will not have Honor points and will have to buy their 'Mechs as it would not make sense. I still hope also for 2 Stars vs 1 company though the lack of news regard team numbers makes me feel sad.

"Honor" would be a really cool name for a clan cbill replacement for the clans.

Honestly, I have begun to use ER Large Lasers and more LBs and Ultras to prepare from Clan Tech. Regardless of the extreme cost, I shall have my Stable of Clan Mechs ready and rearing to go by June 17

we try, I mean... they do need our help... they just seem so behind in progress i think Kerensky himself would just say "NOPE.AVI" and order us back, maybe snag a few mech designs and then beat feet back to the pentagon worlds...
